Project Description
Construction of this 21 bedroom and penthouse extension to the existing Stephen’s Green Hotel within a restricted construction site set between 2 existing listed buildings on Harcourt Street. These existing structures dating back to the early 1800’s required extensive temporary works to for support during the demolition, excavation and construction, which was installed and removed in stages as the works progressed. It included a ground floor retail area with basement extending to 3,000 square feet. The new extension is joined to the existing hotel at first floor level via a link bridge. The new 5-storey extension is finished in Asian sand-stone and insulated render with an Alu-wood window and curtain walling system.
